This workshop aims to expand our knowledge of innovation intermediaries in the context of new digital technologies and, in particular, on the role of innovation intermediaries in supporting the diffusion of the new digital technologies, and digital innovation; and how innovation intermediaries and intermediation roles/functions change with the new digital technologies.
We expect that the contributions to the workshop will not only enhance academic discourse by advancing conceptual understanding and providing solid empirical evidence, but that they will also inform a lively international policy debate on how to improve and strengthen innovation policy initiatives aimed at creating and supporting innovation intermediaries to help companies navigate the digital transition.
The workshop is linked to the special issue 'Innovation intermediaries and emerging digital technologies', hosted by Technovation journal: https://www.journals.elsevier.com/technovation/call-for-papers/innovation-intermediaries-and-emerging-digital-technologies
