ITSG Workshop on “International Trade and Interdependence in global production”

The next meeting of the ITSG - Italian Trade Study Group will be organized by the DISEI (Department of Economics and Management) of the University of Florence and by the Manlio Masi Foundation. Submissions are invited on all topics in international trade. Papers exploring the implications of digitalisation, automation , and environmental issues on trade, global value chains and their possible reconfiguration, FDI and migration are particularly welcome.

Special Issue: papers presented at the workshop, with a particular focus on Italian and European Economic Systems could be submitted for a special issue: "The future of global value chains and International Trade: An EU perspective" hosted by the ‘Italian Economic Journal’ (https://www.springer.com/journal/40797/).
 
The keynote lectures of the Workshop will be delivered by Beata Javorcik (EBRD and Oxford University) Bernard Hoekman (EUI) and Seda Ozer (Baskent University)

The Conference will be held in the main Unifi's Lecture Hall at Rettorato (P.zza S.Marco, 4 - 50121 Firenze)
